Street Fighter IV National Tournament Results
So the Street Fighter IV Nationals are now over. For those who couldn't watch the live stream yesterday, here are the top 3 placing teams:
1st: Kindevu (Rufus), Momochi (Akuma), RF (Sagat)
2nd: MDR (Rufus), Hisshou (Sagat), Pamyu (Balrog)
3rd: Mago (Sagat), Akimo (Honda), Tokido (Akuma)
During the event, producer Yoshinori Ono also confirmed that Super Street Fighter IV will indeed be coming to arcades. It's good to see that Capcom are willing to support the core player base and not just cashing in on the seemingly more profitable console market with this release.

Also, Australian players who have yet to pre-order their copy of SSF4 and aren't willing to pay the bloated local retail price of $79.95, CDWow are selling them for a very nice $43.95. This includes FREE SHIPPING, Australia-wide!

I know April Fools has come and gone, but Sega pulled a really nice one, taking jabs at certain fighting games and beeping out certain landmark special move names.

Blazblue: Continuum Shift Console Trailer
Despite being mostly recycled anime footage from Calamity Trigger and the Continuum Shift intro, it's kinda worth checking out for the (short) in-game glimpse of µ-12.

Hakan on the (Oiled Up) Scene!
Although largely expected months ago due to an internal information leak, Capcom has finally unveiled Hakan, the oiled up, final addition to SSF4's extensive roster of fighters.
I also think I found my new main character.

Blurry µ-12 Screenshot
A Japanese blog has a blurry in-game screenshot of what appears to be µ-12, the exclusive character for the BlazBlue: Continuum Shift home port. Truth or Photoshop tomfoolery? You decide.
In other news, it seems Play-Asia are now taking pre-orders for both regular and limited editions of the game for both consoles.

Super Cheap Fighter IV
Amazon.com currently have the US copies of Super Street Fighter IV up for pre-order at $40.70 AUD for Playstation 3 and $43.82 AUD for Xbox360.
Considering the retail price for SSF4 in Australia is $79.95 AUD, fighting game fans that are a bit light on the wallet might be hard-pressed to pre-order it anywhere else. That's a whole 40 or so dollars you could save from the malevolent clutches of EBGames!
Thanks to Vietcong for the heads up.
